The Bridge Restaurant was created as a tribute to the days of yesteryear. We wanted to honor our grandparents and great-grandparents who settled in Hemby Bridge when it was nothing but rolling pastures, homesteads, and farmland. They carved out their niche as farmers, taking care of the land, and helping our small community to grow. Our ancestors instilled in us a hard-working, family-oriented heritage that we hope to pass on to our children, grandchildren, and to you through The Bridge Restaurant.
As a way of recognizing and giving thanks to the men, women, and children still working those same farms today, our menu is locally sourced when possible. From the eggs to the meat to the vegetables, to the fruit.
We invite our customers to forget about the hustle and bustle of the modern world when they enter our doors and use this time to take it easy, spend quality time together, and of course, enjoy some great down home cooking.
So, welcome to The Bridge Restaurant, we’re glad to have ya’!
